The Filling Station Microbrewery operates out of Traverse City's historic railroad depot, where 20 tracks pour a rotating list of house beers that pair well with wood-fired flatbreads and fresh salads. This family-owned microbrewery has become a staple in the community.
Wood-fired flatbread pizzas come in several options, including the Overnighter, Three Rivers, and Cannonball, and salads like the Depot Caesar and Station Salad are also available. Snacks such as Red Pepper Hummus and Spinach & Artichoke Dip round out the menu.
On the east shore of Boardman Lake, the 4-mile loop trail passes by the front door, and a track-side patio welcomes children and well-behaved dogs. Free parking is available on-site and along Railroad Place, making it easily accessible.
The historic railroad depot, originally built in 1927, has a rich history of uses, including as a bank, coffee shop, and furniture store. Now it's home to The Filling Station Microbrewery, where handcrafted beers and delicious food are served in a casual pub-style setting.
